When wet steam is utilized in sterilization processes, the moisture in suspension can diminish heat transfer efficiency, potentially compromising the validity of sterilization. The S10H series baffle separators effectively remove moisture from steam pipelines. As steam flows through the separator, the combination of expansion, impact, and swirling effects causes particles with higher specific gravity, such as water droplets and suspended moisture, to be separated. The condensate that collects at the bottom of the separator must be automatically drained using an appropriate steam trap.
